Born in Chiclayo, Peru, in 1951.
Education: Mr. de la Flor earned his law degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers in 1978. His principal areas of practice are Corporate, Tax, and Constitutional Law, and he assists the litigation area.
Experience: Mr. de la Flor has held important public positions, including legal counsel to the Minister of Homeland Security (Ministro del Interior) and legal counsel and Chief of Staff to the President of Peru. He has also served as the Peruvian ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS).
He is board director of several institutions and arbitrator of the Lima Chamber of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru.
He was outside legal counsel to the Central Bank of Peru (BCR) in its legal dispute with Southern Peru Copper Corp. over the Cuajone Mining Settlement, achieving a satisfactory result for both parties.
Additionally, Mr. Arbulu's practice includes an emphasis in corporate law and he has designed and overseen the legal structure of merger processes. Among the most prominent cases in which he has participated is the acquisition of Peru's Champion Group (manufacturers of oxygen and acetylene) by Messer Griesheim, a German corporation, which marked the beginning of the multinational presence of that company in Peru.
Attorney De la Flor has also actively participated in major litigations, such as the Backus Brewery control case, which involved some of the most prominent business groups in Latin America (Polar, Bavaria, and Cisneros).
He has also represented the Canadian mining Company Sulliden in litigation and arbitration against the mining company Algamarca, regarding the property rights of the Shahuindo project. Mr. de la Flor's work in this case resulted in several binding precedents.
Guillermo García Montufar S.
Born in Lima, Peru, in 1955.
Education: Mr. García Montúfar earned his law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers in 1982. He earned a Masters Degree in Civil and Corporate Law from San Martin de Porres University. He received a specialized degree studying the United States Legal System at the University of Wisconsin's Law School. He also received a specialized degree in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conciliation from Harvard Law School. He is a professor of property law at the University of Lima's Law School and an arbitrator of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Office of Government Contracts (OSCE), among others, and an out-of-court mediator. He specializes in real estate law and civil contracts.
Experience: Mr. García Montúfar is the head of the real estate department of the firm. As such, he has been the principal outside counsel of several prominent entities that deal with real estate investment in Peru and property formalization programs in Peru other countries, such as El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Egypt, and Tanzania. He has counseled the Ministry of Justice in topics of mediation and reconciliation, and he counsels the World Bank and the Institute of Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in the areas of administrative and civil law, among others.
He has also provided specialized legal counsel to one of the most prominent entities in real estate investment in Peru, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church), which frequently acquires tracts of land for its institutional purposes, requiring prior evaluation and clearance of the respective legal titles.
Moisés Arata S.
Born in Lima, Peru, in 1964.
Education: Mr. Arata Solís earned his law degree from the National University of San Marcos and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers in 1990. He earned a Masters degree in Civil and Commercial Law from San Martin de Porres University. He is a professor of property law at the Universities of Lima, San Martin de Porres and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. His principal areas of practice are property law, contracts, public law, and urban planning, with special emphasis on land registration law.
Experience: He has developed specialized consultancies in property rights and public records for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has provided advice on matters in his areas of specialization to institutions of the Peruvian government like the Property Registry Authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Registros Públicos), the Special Commission on Privatization (Proinversión), and the Government Property Authority (Superintendencia de Bienes Estatales). He has also counseled the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church) and the real estate operations of Marcan, Caster, Puerto Nuevo, Inmobiliari, and Urbanizadora Pro, among others.
Mr. Arata Solís was a member of the commission charged with of amending the regulations of the Law of Urban Development, representing the Property Registry Authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Registros Públicos) and was also a member of the committee responsible for reviewing the draft of the property registration's regulations, representing the Board of Deans of the Peruvian Bar of Lawyers. Additionally, he was a consultant in property registration issues for the public investment project "Registration with National Jurisdiction" (Inscripción Registral con Competencia Nacional - IRCN) of the Peruvian Property Registration Authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Registros Públicos).
Julio Salazar C.
Born in Lima, Peru, in 1971.
Education: Mr. Salazar Calderón earned his law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers in 2002. He holds a Masters degree in Civil Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and he has studied various topics in the areas of real property, contracts, administrative law, and civil responsibility. He has a specialization in civil law by the Lima Bar of Lawyers. He is a professor of property law and property seminar at the University of Lima.
Experience: Mr. Salazar Calderón is the coordinator of the firm's practice areas of administrative law, contracts, and business transactions and he provides further expert advice on property, corporate, and labor law.

Education: Mr. Venegas Martínez earned his law degree from the National University of San Marcos and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers in 1998. He has a masters degree in Civil and Commercial Law from the same university.
Experience: He worked as a Public Registrar and provides advice in areas of civil litigation, registry law, bankruptcy, commercial, labor, public, and family law. He leads the firm's litigation department.

Born in Lima, Peru, in 1973.
Education: Mr. Berastain Quevedo earned his law degree from the University of Lima and was admitted to the Lima Bar of Lawyers, in 1999. He specializes in property and registration, civil, and administrative law. He has a masters degree in business law with a focus in business management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and is a professor at the University of Lima at the courses of property rights and guarantees.
Experience: He provides specialized legal advice in real estate, corporate, administrative, and urban law, contracts, and intellectual property. He is also an out-of-court conciliator.
